A special carnival

Yes, Carnival is in the air...and Patrizia Blessed of *PB Collection has created a serie of outstanding outfit on purpose, inspired by the ancient tradion of carnival in Venice, wellknown all over the world for its fascinating atmosphere and glamorous costumes.

'Morphy', (seen in this post as well) is a finely detailed scarlett tunic, embellished with a gold cape, exquisitely sculpted to create realistic wrapping volumes, and multicoloured feathers on a traditional hat: in bundle, a gorgeous hand painted mask, drawn by Patrizia herself, with in mind the history of costumes.

Up to come, it's Venus, another stunning Venice inspired costume, in an outstanding electric violet. This gown too is highly detailed, the skirt is sequinèe with a rich golden path to enlight the whole ensemble, where anything is attentively crafted, from the sculpted sleeves to the plushy feathered hat.

The outfit comes with a sculpted mask, as well, crafted by hand with skill and art...and...surprise! The mask is off...but ehi....behind it, there's the skin too, taking up the intricated motifs adorning the embellishment. Intriguing, uh?

Style is literature...

Donna Flora has released a serie of superb dresses, in the glamorous style so typical of the brand.

Close to a timeless fashion, yet attentive to style details, Squinternet Larnia, the designer, has created clothes made up by soft volumes, sheer and cloudy textures, gorgeous geometries to play feminine sensuality up.

It's for a sophisticated woman, like those you may find in a novel...Actually, that I've got in mind is the seductive Cee (Cecilia) of 'Atonement', by Ian Mc Ewan. And inspired by such a muse, I've tried to portray a woman, her story and her glam.

Wearing 'Lily', our heroine looks like yet awaken, the pencil skirt in fine twill and the demisheer blouse in cream are a gentle embrace still suspended in a vogue dream (mind that other colors for the blouse are available , from classical white to vitaminc orange, in a shopalicious fat pack ).

At the window...

For whom is she looking, down in the garden? Her lover? That cute gardener, old friend of hers, lately so bold and arrogant ? Lingering at the window, she pretends the silk caress on her skin is as soft as that of Robbie....Named 'Lily' as well,it is the gorgeous dress in soft voile, available in a charming tone of cream. Seized at waist, the skirt spreads out as a blossom just over the knee.

Now our heroine is ready for the evening, wherever. Patrizia Blessed from Ardigraf Design has just released another stunning gown, named 'Rebirth'.

Addicted as I am to costume jewelry and any kind of bijoux (in RL I am quite obsessed by hunting vintage pieces at the bric-a-brac markets), I could not help blogging this wonderful set - necklace and earrings - that Donna Flora has just released. A tribute to the historical maison 'Trifari', founded in the early 1900's by Gustavo Trifari, son of a neapolitan immigrant settled in New York. Since then, the company has designed jewelry that's been worn by countless high profile clients, from Mamie Eisenhower to Madonna.
